Hydraulic seals are available in different versions and are used for different purposes. They basically all have the same task: to prevent mass transitions from leaving a room, or to limit a deliberate exit. Hydraulic machines always work under a certain pressure and therefore have to be specially sealed. Therefore, they are usually either completely made of a rubber-tissue mixture or reinforced rubber seals with a fabric, ie coated.
The shape of hydraulic seals may vary depending on the area of ​​use.

Rod seals are used in hydraulic cylinders or piston rods. They are intended to prevent leakage of hydraulic fluid where the piston rod enters or exits the cylinder.
Piston seals are responsible for sealing two separate cylinder chambers from a piston. Here again a distinction is made between hissing and double sealing effect.

With heavy and large machines, as used in industry, single seals are usually not sufficient to withstand the high load and the strong pressure over a longer period of time to withstand. Therefore, depending on operating conditions, whole sealing systems are often used. These consist of guides, wipers and symmetrical Nutringen.
Guides have the task of guiding the piston and the piston rod so that metallic contact between the individual components is prevented.

Scrapers protect the hydraulic cylinder from dirt, moisture or foreign particles. They scrape off foreign bodies from the piston rod to prevent contamination and a possible defect.
Symmetrical U-rings replace with their shortened outer sealing lip both rod seals and piston seals.
