FST Carbosteam S consists of a flexible graphite core with a wear-resistant carbon yarn jacket. Besides the good elasticity and large cross sectional density, this packing has a continuous volume stability. The jacket is sealed and heat-resistant.
The graphite-filled impregnation facilitates fitting and the sliding behaviour on the spindle is optimised. The content of soluble chloride for this packing is below 50 ppm.
FST Carbosteam S is used in particular in power generation and is used in all industries where high temperatures and aggressive media are used.

FST Carbosteam S consists of a flexible graphite core with a specially designed wear resistant cover made from pure carbon fibre. As proven in long-term tests, this packing is characterised by gool elasticity, good cross sectional density as well as lasting volumetric stability. The enclosing braid is flexible and heat resistant. Running against the spindle is optimised and installation is made easier through the high graphite content of the impregnation.
The soluble chloride content of this packing is under 50 ppm.
Carbosteam S is used especially in energy production but also in every industry where high temeratures and aggressive media occur.
